Have you met positive people? How about negative ones? They sure seem to have clear ways of thinking, and positive people without doubt seem happier. So why aren’t all people positive? Is it that hard to hope for the best? Are negative people just thinking wrongly or do they have more experiences in their lives that ended badly? Did they end bad because of the negativity? Which came first, the experience or the negative thoughts? I like to box myself more in the positive side but I do have plenty of negative thoughts, worries and fears. But what about those people that like to say, “I’m just realistic”. Perhaps they have it right. What bothers me, or better, keeps me up at night, is the question, Is positivity enough? Can positive thoughts be enough for change to happen? Without taking action, isn’t all positivity just wishes? I do think you need to act for things to happen. Waiting for the opportunity to knock at one’s door seems irresponsible. Attaching all results to fate, destiny, higher power is in my opinion, leaving too much room for doubt. Can we think our way out while also doing our part? Like we are sharing the responsibility, we do our part while the universe does his? This sure seems safer to me, like we are covering all bases, that’s the approach I found to bring me the most peace of mind. And the following question is, “Am I doing enough ?”
