I might be a little late talking about Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. For a book that made not only Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club but also the top of the NyTimes bestseller list I’m surprise it took me so long to hear about it. Lately I have stayed away from new books as older stories resonate with me a lot better. But I decided to give it a try. It was a rainy day, I was feeling a bit sick and needed a book to comfort me while I worked on some illustrations. Novels are hard to listen to and when I first played this one I instantly wanted to stop, very thick accents made hard to understand, but after 30 minutes, I was hooked. I loved the book so much, I felt in love with Eleanor, I think we would make great friends, she is an old soul too. How lovely to have spent the last three rainy days in her company, I miss her already. A must read.
