How to Take the Best Summer Photos
Summer is full of beautiful opportunities for beautiful photos. It is the time of year where everyone is outside and having a good time. This might be the times where you would want to take the perfect pictures for social media or just for your personal self. However, there are many ways that the Summer sun, camera filters, and other items can get in the way of that perfect picture.
1. Blocking Out the Sun
The sun can be harsh on your pictures and can cause many different effects on pictures. The rays of the sun can cause many different problems in your picture, whether it be darkness or extreme brightness. To stop this and get that perfect picture, grab your nearest polaroid sunglasses. To fix the sun problem simply put these sunglasses over your camera lense. This will block out the suns rays, the darkness from the sun, and the brightness that would appear in a picture.
2. Look at Your Surroundings
If you are at the beach or in a new city, look for popular surroundings that would give a clue of where you are. This will help make the backdrop seem less cluttered and more organized. If you find a great backdrop that hints where you are it will give you the perfect summer picture.
3. Look for a Focal Point
A focal point is a must for you photo. Whether you are at the beach or in the city, you need to ensure you have a clear focal point. This will make for a clean and uncluttered picture. If you are at the beach a lighthouse or a boat may be a focal point and if you are in the city a car or a table may be your focal point.
4. Capture Color
Summer is all about color and you need to be aware of that. Summer is the most vibrant time of the year and you will want to capture that. This could mean capturing the umbrellas and towels at a beach or even a vibrant spray painting in a city. To get a great beach picture photograph towards the beach and not towards the water. The water will cause reflection and ruin a picture.
5. Take Multiple Pictures
When taking a picture that is in motion, take multiple pictures. Even if the picture is not in motion, taking multiple pictures will give you an abundance of photos to choose from. That way you have more options to choose the best photo.
