Adirondack chairs

Adirondack has been making their trademark chairs for over a 100 years for one simple reason: they’re classic. By adding the simplicity of Adirondack chairs to your yard, porch or deck you bring the timeless feel of a beach house to your home. Originally these chairs only came in white, however, they now come in a large range of colors so you’re sure to find one to suit your decor!

Nautical accessories

To ensure your home fees like a seaside escape make sure the decor feels casual and comfortable. It’s not often you’ll find a stuffy and cluttered beach house, after all. Try bringing in things like nautical artwork (check out our store for a large variety!), driftwood, seashells, porthole mirrors, light colored fabrics, and model ships.  Remember - seashells and beach pebbles are free! Get out and scan your local beach for pretty shells that can be used in a variety of ways such as in glass vases or shadow boxes.

Fire pit

What’s better than a bonfire on the beach? To recreate that vibe in your own yard make sure to have a fire pit! It will become the hub to keep warm, play games, tell stories, and create lasting memories. There are many options available that include small free-standing pits, in-ground pits, and above-ground pits. With so many options you’ll definitely be able to find one to suit  your space.

Use scents

Use candles, potpourri, essential oils, or wax melters to waft beach themed scents throughout your home.  Make sure to keep the scents light, fresh and airy for the best overall effect. Town and Country magazine has already put together a list of beach-house approved scents for you!
