Since I started listening to Audible.com I have been going through books a lot faster. I only dedicate an hour to read books but I can listen to them all day while drawing. The latest one I finished is called Hit Makers by Derek Thompson.
I really enjoyed it but I think I was a expecting something else. I thought it would be more about the creators of the hits lives, but it's more general than that. It goes through categories like hits in music, film, books, etc and what made them hits. No secret recipe to copy, just a bunch of different events that together made them hits. It was cool to know but honestly just because I was curious but no must know ideas. I still recommend the book because it opens your eyes to the realization that to create a hit you need more than marketing or a good product.
