I needed new business cards but I didn't want to spend a lot of money to get creative ones. There are so many cool ideas out there, including gold foil, heavy card stock papers, so many shapes and sizes... but they are expensive. I also wanted something unique that would represent my work and my brand.
As an illustrator that works a lot in watercolor I thought painting each card would work well. I also wanted my logo and info to have a "homemade" feel, so the stamp was perfect.
If you are looking for other business cards ideas, I have a ton on my Pinterest board.
Here is how I made them:
1. I ordered a custom stamp from Lumi. They make really great stamps and mine was only $30.
2. I cut out 3.5 x 2 rectangles out of watercolor paper I had at a home.
3. I painted each card
4. Once the paint was dry I stamped each card
