Have you guys heard of the TV Show The Americans? It's my new favorite. It's about two KGB spies that pretend to be americans during the Cold War. I find the show very unique with a really good plot. They way the couple handles family issues at the same time as world war issues is pretty interesting, and I obviously wonder how much of it can be inspired by true situations. Is it possible that someone like a spy can be so dedicated to a cause that they completely live a lie for their entire life? That just sounds impossible to me. I'm still watching the show but it does seem to be getting better and better as the seasons go by, and that's hard for a tv show. I would love to hear your thoughts. Especially not being an american I feel like I see and experience the show very different than most americans. I also love Matthew Rhys, since Brothers and Sisters. And of course the fact that it's a period show only makes me like even more.
